Safety Director


Patoka Lake Regional Water and Sewer District currently has an opening for a Safety Director.  The Safety Director will develop, coordinate, and implement occupational health policies and procedures to promote and ensure effective safety operations within the District. The Safety Director will keep the District in compliance with state and federal regulations, including OSHA and the EPA. 



  • Maintain OSHA 200 Log

  • Prepare Tier II reports to EPA

  • Develops and maintains training program

  • Performs monthly and annual inspections

  • Manages all safety equipment

  • Investigates any injuries or accidents.


Desired Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Ability to obtain valid Indiana driver’s license.

  • Training in OSHA 501, industrial hygiene, OSHA 200 Lock, EPA Tier II reports, drug alcohol abuse, asbestos, ergonomics, confined space, lock out tag out, mechanical, electrical, machine safeguarding, hearing conservation, respiratory fit testing and fire extinguisher inspection and use.

  • Have computer skills in word, excel, and access.
